this is my 296th post.
i believe this blog has spanned 3 years now
many things have really changed. hah.

okay, so went for my 1 day job today under yap's dad.
well, of the 10 odd hours spent. i must say only 3-4 hours were spent really working
because theres not much we could do.
all we did was shifting, loading and unloading.
fyi yap's dad is working as like a provider for the technical aspects for events.
so we were at roxy hotel today helping out for the setting up the equipment for a conference.
so we did the physical stuff.
and yeah, time was mostly spent sitting and walking around
since there was nothing much we could do.
and yeah, i must say the pay was something i feel was too generous for the little work we did.
but still, very grateful for the job. haha. thanks yap.

and erm, my mum's fallen kinda ill.
yeah. hope she'll recover real soon.
really do.

so my valentines day was mostly spent in church, and with church friends (how holy!)
yeah, they're great people seriously.
including mr mark ong, my sch/classmate (cat high and peirce) and of course a great friend.
haha. dno if ur readin this.
but hey man, dont get too stressed with sch stuff yeah.
work and cca aside, u still have ur life and health to take care of.
we'll be around to chill with you, and for me, i'll always be here church-wise and as a friend.
and.....as ur jamming mate. hahaha.
rock on man.

okay back to my day. haha.
so, had ywm session as usual, then chilled at the coffeeshop afterwards as usual again.
then, i got my lost wallet back.
well fyi, i lost my wallet a couple of weeks back at the church coffeeshop.
so today the aunty from the coffeshop came up to me and asked if i lost a wallet.
so yeah, she brought me to the drinks stall.
then these few aunties were like (in chi) "oh, so you are the one who lost the wallet!!"
being the sucker in chi, all i could do was laugh awkwardly. heh.
so yeah, everything was intact.
except the cash. understandably.
but still, very very grateful for them bothering to keep these stuff for me.
i mean who would bother keepin a stranger's wallet and waiting for 2 weeks.
well yeah, again i bring it back down to a blessing.
remembered the priest praying that i may eventually find my wallet 2 weeks back.
and now i got it. haha wow. abit funny huh.
haha. yeah these little things in life again show the nice side of people and life.

so after coffeshop hang-about, we proceded to leonard's home
for his bday celebration. yeah, on vdays.
cos he's single and doesnt give a damn bout vday. thats the way man. hahahaha.
so we helped a lil bit in the setting up and stuff.
blowing up balloons, playing with them like children (and its still fun. hahah)
then came the celebration.
the bday boy himself got dressed in a superhero costume
made by mainly his sis and the senior ywm members.
so yeah, with leonard's own red underwear worn outside his pants,
a cape, a mask and long red (soccer) socks.
he looks funny. haha. esp the underwear.

adrian and stefan, church musicians,
came to play a 5 song performance mainly for leonard
yeah, acoustic set. so had the acous TAYLOR guit, and the box.
the box is, a box (obviously) which acts as a drumset, only with the bass and snare.
yeah its damn cool. so the drummer would sit on the box and smack the box,
the edges for the snare and the middle for the bass. it sounds damn good too. haha.
and the acous guit, its a freaking taylor.
btw, taylor is like one of the top acous guit brands.
so adrian got it 2nd hand for a freaking 2.3k
yeah, 2nd hand and it costs 2.3k
thats how valuable it is.
and no doubt it sounds good.
and i tried it. woooooooooooooooot.
i touched a 2.3k guit. hahaha.
too bad i tried it in a crowded environment. so the sound wasnt really brought out. haha.
had fun singing along to a couple of famous songs too.
whereever you will go (the calling), howie day's collide, mraz's i'm yours,
and abit of the legend clapton's wonderful tonight.
had lotsa fun.

so in the end, decided to leave at 10 plus after the cakes and the guitar-ing.
couldnt be home too late lah.
so left with nic and mark.
the path along peirce at night is freaky at such a time.
lucky i was walkin with nic.
the tree at the end always gives me some creeps. haha.
waited for the bus for 20 mins. kukubird.
163's always takes damn long to arrive.

alrite, its 1.28am
time for me to ciao.
mass trw, followed by music prac. yeahh.
i love music practises. get to plug in and stuff. haha.
