so i woke up early today for breakfast with mum, uncle and aunt
the thing was, i felt really tired when i woke up.
slept for 7 hours. now it seems quite sufficient,
but i've been clockin in 10-odd hours of sleep nowadays.
so 7 really felt bad. sorry to the busy jc peeps. heh.

ate hans at thomson plaza.
headed for soccer at sin ming as usual afterwhich.
the sleepiness made me lazy to play, made worse by the rain.
delayed awhile. then started to play.
whacked all the sleepiness away.
always great to sweat it all out.
frustrations or tiredness, sports is the way to go man.
weather was kinda cool.
so yeah, played more chilled matches.

the knee pain started to come in after awhile.
i can still kinda feel it now.
this really sucks. hurts and stuff.
just tugs away on the muscles.
if my knee prob isnt there, i think i might play sports a lil bit better.
well, at least i still have the chance to play.
thats the good thing.

its another late night now.
1.23am. heh.
time where everything's quiet and i'm sittin here quietly typing away.
family's all sleeping.
its also a time where thoughts come into my helmet head again.
shall not dwell too much.
i find that lyrics kinda express feelings better than i do myself.
so let a part of mr A-Z, mraz's song express it for me.
love this song.

today was total-slack day for me.
woke up at 3.13 today. yeah.
clocked in around 13 hours of sleep? yeah.
love the rain when im at home. pure chill.

actually i've nothing much to blog about.
okay thinking bout it..maybe one small thing.

ystd went for music prac at the Catholic Spirituality Centre (CSC) around hougang.
prac'ed for the upcomin youth mass in May.
so yeah..played with my ibanez with joseph on bass, julius on keyboards and shaun poh on drums since mark couldnt make it.
adrian poon and stefan was there to help out and stuff.
yeah, adrian played his elec, a fender tele.
with his whole effects board and stuff.
yeah i think he has a hell lot of effects.
distortion, wah, digital delay (and another kinda delay), chorus, tuner,
and some other funny stuff.
even has this "Cream tone" effect that i heard mayer uses.
cool stuff.
so prac a couple of songs.
i think it went kinda well.
then i got to play a lil teeny weeny bit of the fender tele.
yeah. with all the distortion and vol cranked up and guit slung way too low for me,
i got a lil uncomfortable playin it. hahahaha.
so aft like 1 min or so, i kinda stopped.
then adrian got it back and showed me another way of what i played.
haha. cool stuff.

so i was checkin out review of mayer's releases,
his albums, and live dvds and stuff.
they all got real good reviews.
and not surprisingly so i guess.
he's a great musician.
definitely what this generation of music is lacking.
where many now listen to pop and r&b (i still do!)
i realised that there is actually another side to music we dont check out
the side of music where there was no1 to bring forward
the side where past gurus have passed on.
Hendrix, SRV just to name a few.
i definitely am lacking much in this sense too, cos im new to this thing too.
but im surely lovin it.
and this is where john mayer stands.
ppl should check out his stuff man.
esp the guitar players.
too bad he's not widely recognized in s'pore.
only maybe a couple of his radio-friendly pop hits years ago.
stuff like no such thing and your body is a wonderland.
yeah. old but great stuff from him.
he's changed now.
into the blues-rock kinda genre. and its real good.
wow, if he comes to s'pore.
if only.

hmm, guess im gna go off now.
ordered macs. should be coming soon.
the cold weather's makin me eat more. haha.

hmm..
listenin to daughters by john mayer now.
damn chill-out man.
love it.

argh. if only i've my own room.
then i'll just sit on my bed,
by the wall,
and just chill with my ibanez.
that would be so great.
and the best time to do so?
late nights.
where every1 is asleep,
and ur the only one awake, feeling all chilled out and stuff.
no hustle and bustle around u..
thats life.

seeing some jc friends,
all ranting bout schwork and stuff.
i can see its a diff life from sec sch.
a new environment.
a new group of friends.
yeah..
thats where many people lose contact with each other.
those who used to talk to/see each other on a regular basis
kinda all fade from each other's life..
as they embark on a new journey of their own.

forgettin the times they used have fun and laughter with. all the nice memories.
until they probably see the person again,
only then they kinda feel the real missing of the person
all the times and memories. damn.
that sucks.

im feelin so chill-out now,
i feel like just laying on the beach, starin up at the skies gazing at the twinkling stars.
probably that cant be achieved very nicely in S'pore.
the freaking dirty beaches.
the thought of it puts me off from the star-gazing thought. tsk.

or probably sittin down, back leanin on tree,
playin some acoustic stuff.
or write a song. heh.

or maybe at a campfire,
playin the ukelele and singing to some songs with great pals.
thats a nice alternative too.

maybe i should learn the ukelele one day.
its kinda cool man.
and play somewhere over the rainbow. sweet stuff.
hah.

look, all the weird thoughts i have,
probably thoughts that cant be fulfilled.
thats why their thoughts. tsk.
u cant find sucha place in S'pore.

maybe it'll be cool to chill in Australia
along with some cool mates.
play some beach soccer..volleyball would be cool.
a place where no1 bothers bout what u do.
where u can really be urself and enjoy real life.

hahaha. i must be havin too much a break from sch,
making me think of all these.
damn. if only life could be like that. argh.
