okay, so was supposed to head out with family and mum's friend's family. hah.
supposed to head to east coast to cycle. but its raining so damn heavily.

okay apparently we're still gna leave now.
guess its bye bye for a short post now.

i wanted to blog bout what im aiming for currently for guit.
maybe i can squeeze abit in.
got a few aims, one of which is the find to common note between the pentatonic scales in the diff keys. like a chord progression. well its a lead guit thing. so yeah.
the other, is to play the solo of hotel california. hahahahah.
maybe its not a very short term thing for me, cos its so damn long solo.
but yeah, i'll get it one fine day..hah.

was abit reluctant to come online, specifically to blog.
but i gave my word, so.....

congrats to Rachel Tan Wan Ting,
for succesfully running 2.4km!

in 20 mins. hahaha.

but, its really well done lah. considering ur not a person who likes to run much,
and that ur quite a slacker (high 5!)
keep running ah. then when poly start, can attract alot of guys already. haha.
Better be happy and no sad faces cos ur friend here blogged just for u.
i see ur recent posts. wah lau.
i dno if ur still down lah, but cheer up cos u've many friends who will hear ur complaints and rants if u ever needa let them out. haha.
in short, ur life is great. so nothing to be down about. haha.

okay, im kinda tired now.
abit to early to feel tired, its 10.40pm now. tsk.
eyes been a bother recently. hah.

so i went to church today for session.
jammed a lil bit b4 session on our acoustics.
today there were 4 acoustics.
damn shiok.
i tried jam abit of blues futile-ly with victor.
guess i couldnt link my pentatonics well enuf. yet.
i'll get it down eventually man.
its tough but thats my aim. yeahh.

so had session, a motivating one i guess. great one from jeremy.
aft session, headed to coffeeshop for awhile for some food and drinks.
ate duck rice since i hadnt had lunch. i woke up at 1230 u see. and session's 2.
usual big sleeper me, who's gna lose that priviledge soon.

aft coffeeshop, we proceeded to paradiz centre.
i took anthony's car there, along with josephine.
listened to the legendary SRV's compilation on the way.
woah man. to play like that, i dont know if i'll be able to reach that standard.
freaking good feel man. plus the vibratos were a killer. damn.
the one that stood out for me was the main riff from the song Lenny.
yeah, the track called Lenny. maybe i'm born for blues. hahah! okay thats pure bullshit.
well yeah, the riff was damn sweet with the vibrato. wah lau.
thinking of it makes me feel inspired.
i must put more blues tracks into my phone.
too bad my com doesnt have a program to dl songs. hahaha oops.

back to topic.
so at paradiz, ant sold his squier strat at this shop for 110. not bad value man.
he bought it for 160 many years back and this guit is discontinued. rusty strings too. haha.
but he changed pickups lah. hah. good value still i think.
then while he was in the process of selling,
i took an acous for the rack since im havin itchy fingers. haha.
that guit sounded quite good man. haha.
so aft that, since we were looking for acous amps for our ministry,
we plugged in a maestro into the acous amp in the shop.
a smarvo amp. sounded quite nice.
but i think there were better ones. quite value for money tho. haha.
so left the shop in the end and headed to peni to meet the rest.

ant drove to peni.
we proceeded to check out the other amps at davis.
took quite awhile. the amp was quite good i must say. then went to eat.
had quite a discussion bout sound, amps and stuff.
interesting. i like to hear these stuff, so i can learn more. hahah.
headed to luther music afterwhich.
thats where we really saw some good stuff.
i think the guys kinda decided on this yamaha amp for the acous guit and keyboard.
sounded great man. very clear and can hit high volumes.
quite what we wanted i guess.
595 for it. i think its quite worth since its like good for multiple sound parts into it.
so it'll be like an acous + keyboard into this, maybe plus vocals.
yeah. guess its really worth. haha.
had fun man.

headed to grandma's afterwards.
ate dinner there.
duck drumstick plus curry chicken. good stuff man.
played abit more guit for fun there.
yeah then headed home. hah.

1.19am now.
heading for mass at 1130am trw.
followed by music prac at 1.30.
hope it'll be a good day trw.

ant intro'ed me to this blues guy.
joe bonamassa. what a name. and what a tone he has too.
and he plays a Les Paul. woot. added inspiration.
all the more i feel like gettin a pedal for myself.
any1 to intro me some good pedals for blues rock?
only havin the Boss BD-2 blues driver in mind for now.
ant told me to get a tubescreamer. dno if i'd like it such a rockin' pedal. haha.
one fine day when i have enuf spare cash, i'd go shoppin for a pedal. woot.
hope i can get one soon. maybe i'd get one for myself on my bday. haha.
