Its crunch-time on the church side of things.
Trying, to say the very least.
On the bright side, its really nice seeing the commitment of the commitee this time.
All gathered together in faith and love.
Everyone's praying for this youth camp....
for it to be one that is led by the Spirit and one that will be impactful for the participants.
Planning stages has really been tough, for me at least.
A new experience i must say, as i've never been in a comm handling so much details and info.
Which reminds me, i shouldnt even be blogging now.
Other more impt things to settle.
One question has been weighing on my mind since YWM meeting a couple of hours back:
What does it mean to love?
Love in Christ's context.
Letting His will be done, for me.
That itself is something that is so hard to live by.
And that too, can be seen in the context of Christ-centered relationships.
If we allow Him to lead our lives and let His will be done,
and NOT play this game of love solely because we THINK we are ready for it,
that i believe, is letting His will be done.
We love Christ.
And what does it mean to love?
To love, is to trust.
to trust, is to let His will be done.
To let His will be done, we would need to live an active, prayerful life.
By having an active, prayerful life, we can attain purity.
By being pure, we are living out our lives in accordance to the virtues of Christ,
who loved so purely and served so humbly.
Only by living our lives in accordance to the virtues of Christ,
can we really live by what we say, that we truly love Christ.
Working with the seniors and fellow churchmates for this camp and ministry,
has made me realise alot about my shortcomings.
So many flaws, so many things that can be improved on.
And i'm thankful for the experience.
Final week or so,
hanging on tight by His grace and love.
Sch's on again this monday. huat ah.
God bless,
and cheers!
